Delete your Intry account

Intry (com.gointry.app) is the resident app for answering your building's callbox from your phone. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and what happens to your data.

How to request account deletion

By email (available now)

  1. From the email address registered to your Intry account, send a message to [email protected].
  2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
  3. Include the email address you use to sign in to Intry.

We will verify that you control the account, then process your request within 30 days.

In the Intry app (when available)

When supported in your app version:

  1. Open Intry on your phone.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to confirm.

If you do not see Delete Account, use the email option above.

What we delete

When your deletion request is completed, we remove:

  • Your resident profile (name, email, phone number)
  • Push notification tokens and linked devices
  • Guest passes and access codes you created
  • Your sign-in account with our authentication provider (Clerk)

Your unit assignment is released — your unit will show as unassigned until your property manager links a new resident.

If you still have an active lease or unit assignment, your property manager is notified when we process the deletion request.

What we keep (and why)

Some data is kept for security, legal, or operational reasons:

DataWhy it's keptHow long
Access event logs
(buzzer calls, approve/deny history)
Property security and audit; managed by your buildingTypically 90 days, per your property manager's policy
Package scan imagesDelivery photos stored for residentsAuto-deleted after 5 days
Anonymized usage statisticsProduct improvement — no names, emails, or phone numbersRetained in aggregate form only

Access logs may still show historical events (for example, "Unit 204 — approved entry") without tying them to your personal profile after deletion.
