Notifications
Control how Intry reaches you for buzzers and alerts.
Overview
Push notifications are the fastest way to know someone is at your door. If you miss pushes, Intry can fall back to SMS or a phone call when your property enables those options.
iOS & Android settings
- Open Settings on your phone → Notifications → Intry.
- Enable Allow Notifications, banners, and sounds.
- Disable Focus modes (or allow Intry as an exception) during move-in week.
In-app preferences
Inside Intry you may be able to toggle:
- Notification sounds (including property-specific chimes)
- SMS or voice fallbacks (requires verified phone number)
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Worked before, stopped now | Re-open app, re-enable notification permission |
| Only SMS, no push | Reinstall app; confirm device shows in property admin tools |
| Duplicate alerts | Disable an old device or sign out unused phones |
Quiet hours
Some properties respect quiet hours for non-emergency alerts. Emergency or life-safety notifications may still break through per local law and building policy.
