Overview

For voice-based Intry deployments, the “access point” is usually the building intercom paired with a Twilio number. When a visitor dials or the panel calls out, Twilio reaches Intry Core, which notifies residents.

Go-live testing

  • Place test calls from each entry panel.
  • Validate DTMF tones open strikes/magnets reliably.
  • Confirm fail-safe behavior during internet outages (per vendor spec).

Adding a new entrance

  1. Provision a virtual number or trunk route.
  2. Point Twilio webhooks to the correct environment host.
  3. Map the number to the right unit(s) or directory logic.
  4. Document the change in your internal runbook.
